Vijayadashami 2024 Karnataka Urban. Dussehra 2024 festival is joyously celebrated for varied reasons in every part of the country. On the tenth day, known as vijayadashami, the traditional dasara procession is held on the streets of mysore.

While many associate the festival with lord ram’s victory over ravan, various regions have their own traditions and stories that are honoured during this time. This day is also symbolic of the end of mahishasur, the king of demons whon was killed by goddess durga on this day.
